Story Pitches and Contributions

Pitch a Story

The Florida Daily Post accepts opinion articles on any topic that will be published in our Centerfold Section. The newspaper also accepts reviews and advertorials that can be published in different categories of the site accordingly.

These articles should typically run from 400 to 1,000 words. All submissions must be original, and exclusive to Florida Daily Post. Articles that have already been published, in any form, in print or online will be disregarded.

It is possible that not all submissions are considered. If you submit a paid story or advertorial, it will be reviewed as many times as possible until it meets the Florida Daily Post guidelines.

If we have to pass on a material of value and interest, or cannot reply to a submissions within three business days, please assume that we will not be able to use your article.

Stories pitched to the Florida Daily Post will be published without remuneration from the newspaper editorial board. If you desire to get paid for writing for the Florida Daily Post, please submit your application here.

Articles submitted for consideration should be of interest to readers of The Florida Daily Post have a tone that is appropriate for The Florida Daily Post, and be written by a person, not a PR department. Remember, they should not be published on any other publication, digital or print.
